Our concrete gravel boards are available in various sizes and finished. Our gravel boards are wet cast to ensure a smooth, premium finish and includes steel reinforcements. Gravel boards are designed to prolong the life of timber fencing as it prevents panels soaking up moisture. Ideal for retaining soil between you and your neighbour. Gravel boards are used in conjunction with slotted concrete posts. Designs available are smooth and also recessed / dished pattern.
Feather Edge Panels
Our Best Selling Panel Feather Edge panels also known as close board panels these panels are made to last. A cost effective but long lasting solution. Trellis can be incorporated above to make more decorative.
Features 19 x vertical feather boards ex 22mm in our standard 6ft wide panels and sturdy backing rails ex 50x35mm. Constructed from pressure-treated brown timber.
Available Sizes: Custom sizes available upon request. Panels can be made to specific sizes to fit existing posts or piers.
Intermediate Concrete Fence Posts
Concrete Intermediate Fence Posts
Your fence relies upon the strength of your posts. Therefore it is crucial that your posts are durable and strong. Our concrete posts are wet caste giving them a smooth finish on their face sides. Our standard concrete intermediate posts come with a lip to sit your panel or gravel board upon. It also indicates the level in which the post should be in the ground. For simplicity you will also need 2ft longer post than the height of the fence. In reality the hole depth should be 550mm. Designed to withstand the elements with steel reinforcement rods. Unlike timber posts they are maintenance free and will last for years giving you peace of mind. Sizes available: 5ft, 6ft, 7ft, 8ft and 9ft. Corners, Ends and threeway posts also available.
Larch Lap Fence Panels
Traditional Larch lap. Also known as wavy lap. These panels are made with horizontal larch slats and additional vertical battens for durability. The slats are tanalised and dip treated to prevent rot.
Available Sizes: Standard width of 1825mm / 6ft. Heights available 1.8m / 6ft, 1.5m 5ft, 1.2m / 4ft, 0.9m / 3ft
Postmix
Formulated by Hanson's this postmix concrete is ideal for setting all types of posts. Simply pour down the hole and add water. Used by the trade and DIYers. This postmix sets in under 10 minutes. A relatively clean and easy solution compared to mixing ballast and cement.
The quantity required does depend of course on how big the hole is dug. Bigger the hole then more postfix will be required. We would recommend 1.5-2 bags per hole. The bags weigh approximately 20-22kg each.
